This is my son, Jerald. When he saw me doing self portrait the other day, he asked if I can take his picture with the Rock Band guitar posing as a rock star (not so much :)). While we were rehearsing, he came up with an idea of putting another guitar on his back. So there he is, my very own rock star with two guitars...hehe.

i've started shooting the guitars made by my friend andrew guyton ready to populate a new website i've designed for him...i think it's going to be a little while before we've got enough material to go forward because he's having to call guitars back in for shooting but in the meantime it's damn good fun...

I got the guitar as a present over 40 years ago. It was in an attic, totally broken and barely recognizable. My father had it restored for me and in my view it is hard to beat in terms of beauty.

This is a whimsical double exposure while sitting in a cafe. One exposure for the guitars on the wall and a second click on the person.

I was given 6 of these metal guitar teaspoons for my birthday last month. The metal yellow frame and metal balls that is holding the other two are magnets. You can make any shape out of them your mind can come up with (there’s many more I didn’t use)

From a photoshoot that took place a few years ago. It was mostly close-up work for jewelry, but we did get a chance to go out and just get some "fun" shots, and this was one of those. I added the Jeep and grunged it up a bit.

OK this is the last of the shots of my guitar- for now. Can't promise I won't pick up this series again later as we may be stuck in lock-down for a while and new subjects are pretty hard to come by close to home.

I have about 40 guitar pictures to post, so I hope no one gets bored with them. I'll space out the postings.

There are different guitar models. Standard models are the Stratocaster, the Telecaster, the Les Paul and the Flying V. The design and material help determine the sound. Classic metal guitars are usually made of mahogany and have a rosewood fingerboard. The sound of metal guitars is usually warm and pleasant and only becomes hard and aggressive through the settings of the amplifier.
