These chocolates, without liqourice, were given to me by a friend who came over for Christmas dinner, luckely there were only six in the package :)

This sulphur crested cockatoo may look like butter wouldn't melt in its mouth, but I am here to tell you it did! Literally! The buttered toast that I was meant to have for breakfast disappeared into this sweet innocent looking bird as it happily raided my al fresco breakfast! Guilty as charged! ; )

I put out peanuts for the jays almost every day and sometimes twice a day. Still, to a bird, they zip in and grab a nut or two from the tray and speed away as though afraid of being arrested for theft. Just look at the face on this one. That is one guilty expression.

Another study for this week's Macro Mondays theme, "Guilty Pleasure."
Glenmorangie Scotch and ice cube in a 3-inch inch diameter cut glass tumbler. Shot from above, lit from below with a speedlight and double diffuser.
I am not sure if this reads any more clearly as a glass of Scotch than the first attempt. There is a strong graphic quality which is in-camera - I made modest adjustments to global contrast and color temperature in LR and PS.

A guilty pleasure is something, such as an activity or a piece of media, that one enjoys despite understanding that it is not generally held in high regard or is seen as unusual. For example, a person may secretly enjoy a film while acknowledging that is poorly made or generally regarded unfavorably.
The term can also be used to refer to a taste for foods that are considered to be advisable to avoid, especially for health reasons. For example, coffee, alcoholic beverages, smoking and eating a little piece of chocolate after dinner are considered by many to be guilty pleasures.
