Rally for Justice demonstrating against the court decision that ruled a 15 year old boy involved in peaceful protest guilty of "false imprisonment" of a politician while she sat in her car surrounded by police
I came home from work a couple of days ago to find my favorite decorative pillow had been hopelessly mutilated...these two had removed almost all of the dingle balls (tho I'm pretty sure that's not the right name for them) and left them in a pile ~ not even caring enough to chew them up. Apparently they were content to just pull them off, one by one, and spit them out. Not sure why they didn't rip apart the whole pillow, which I loved... I'm thinking of getting a 'nanny-cam'.
A Wickersley Old Village batter is trapped leg before at the Burrows Oval during the latter stages of an agonising two-run defeat by Sheffield Collegiate in an exciting fourth-versus-second ECB Yorkshire South Premier League encounter.
Wickersley, chasing a fairly modest 145, were dismissed for 142 as Matthew Lee (5-9) and Matthew Dixon (5-59) wreaked havoc. The hosts collapsed from 75-1 to 123-9 after big-hitting opener Simon Rogers (67 from 31 balls) had given them a flying start.
Sheffield Collegiate's innings was markedly similar. The visitors, buoyed by opener Tom Rowley's 50, were looking good at 87-2. But five batters then departed without scoring, leaving Collegiate reeling at 97-7. An eighth-wicket stand worth 43 between Eliot Callis (36) and Henry Aldred (19) righted the ship and helped Collegiate post a defendable total. Pacer Umaid Asif, the Wickersley professional, took 5-57.

The Law reads- GUILTY! No one is without fault.
Every moment the "accuser" is filling charges against you. He has noticed every error and marked each slip. Neglect your priorities and he will jot it down. Abandon your promises, and he will make a note. Miss out in one of the requirements in the law, and he will hold it against you. Try to forget your past; he'll remind you. Try to undo your mistakes, he will trap you sooner than you think.
This expert witness has no higher goal than to take you to court and press charges. Even his very name, "Diabolos", meand "slanderer." a.k.a the devil.
The age old question that every religion attemps to answer.."What shall I do to be saved?"....and the answer "almost" always points to a stairway of righteous deeds that one needs to accomplish to attain ..salvation, or to put it differently.."follow the law to perfection"...

I got to use my parents scanner last night. I haven't quite figured out the settings, so the scan looks a bit washed out/off colored.
But this is the complete drawing--finally! ^__^;

A court in Ecuador has found Chevron guilty of massive environmental pollution and human rights violations in the Amazon, and has ordered the company to pay $8 billion to clean it up. But Chevron has vowed to appeal the decision, and clearly plans to stall indefinitely, hoping never to pay its due. So the Change Chevron team got together with our friends and allies at Amazon Watch, Greenpeace, Global Exchange, and Communities for a Better Environment (of Richmond, CA) headed down to Chevron’s HQ in San Ramon, CA, and delivered a message to the company: Chevron was found guilty because the company is guilty. Time to accept responsibility and clean up the oily mess in Ecuador!
If you want to send your own message to Chevron, go to ChevronIsGuilty.org.
When the rest of the family is out of the house, I like to crank up my music. I'll usually start off with some Crystal Method. Then, depending on my mood, move on to some Tori Amos, some Beth Hart. Linkin Park (I know what you're thinking, “Those pansy wannabes” -- but Hybrid Theory was a great album) and Orgy. Then to the serious music. Nine Inch Nails (Trent Reznor's earlier stuff, from before he and Marilyn Manson started acting like middle-school girls). Rage Against the Machine. Eminem. The music gets louder. Soundgarden, Rob Zombie, Kid Rock, Korn. I always end with Prodigy. Believe me, it's not the words -- it's the rhythm, the pounding backbeat, the crash of electronic and vocal sampling. But my favorite song? It's called "Smack my Bitch Up."
I'm so sorry.
It's my guilty pleasure.
