We all have a love affair with this landmark in the Bay Area - What's so fascinating about shooting it is that it never looks the same. The light changes, the fog rolls in, the fog rolls over, under. At times, you cannot even see the darn thing even if you're standing right on it. So - here it is, in all it's glory, totally visible, no fog, morning light - irresistible.

According to the Monroe County History Center, Bloomington (population estimated at 84,067 as of July 2016) is known as the "Gateway to Scenic Southern Indiana." The city was established in 1818 by a group of settlers from Kentucky, Tennessee, the Carolinas, and Virginia who were so impressed with "a haven of blooms" that they called it Bloomington. Guess who isn't happy - Benni had all the running she wanted at the park this morning, starting at 6:45! Early to beat the 90 F. temperatures coming later in the day.
But she still wasn't happy when I stopped to take these two flower pictures on the way home.
I think my Benni has become a bit of a diva....

Anyway, this is my first building project for a LONG time and I'm real excited. Expect many progress pics that you need not fave. :P
I'll probably add some shading on her face but wanted to show the new (but probably classic who) doctor so far... I'm really pleased with how easy the hair was, after all.
Found this guy walking across the lawn, looking for some sunshine to go and warm up in... We have had a week of overcast, cold and windy weather...
I always thought this would have made a good Valentine's picture but I didn't know how to present it as one with Asha with her paws over the teddy's eyes in the lovers game, of a person creeping up behind their loved one and putting their hands over that person's eyes and saying "Guess Who" (naturally the person would know who it was putting their hands over their eyes and wouldn't be frightened). I just didn't know how say this in this picture without making it long winded as I know most people like words on a picture to be minimal and straight to the point (I know most don't be bothered to read it if it is long). I had a go at trying to portray this lovers game and hope it works...
Happy Furry Friday! I thought this was cute! Milo was looking out the window and kept putting his tail in front of Mitzi's face. She was trying to take a nap....and wasn't happy. By the time she started biting his tail and the fighting started, I had put my camera away.
