This Guernsey Lily is the brightest feature of my UK Garden in October.

The Nerine bowdenii, or Nerine sarniensis, (I'm not sure which), commonly known as Guernsey lily or Jersey lily, is a species of flowering plant in the family Amaryllidaceae.

I liked the two fingered rocks :-)

Sun breaking through on a cloudy morning at Saints Bay on Guernsey's south coast. The Bay is part way along the stunning south coast cliff path, which stretches from the capital St Peter Port to the Pleinmont headland, a distance of 17miles (27km), and ascents totalling 1850 ft (560m) given the ups and downs along the the cliffs.

Wide angle view of the delightful Fermain Bay on Guernsey, a couple of miles from St Peter Port.

With the nearest water to me being the murky brown River Thames, courtesy in a large way to the privatised water company, it was lovely to see water a proper greeny-blue colour and as clear as anything when one looks into it.

Unlike Jersey where recent investment has seen an influx of Optare Solos for use on the majority of routes around the island, Guernsey still boasts a sizeable collection of the unique 'thin' TransBus Darts.

Operated by CT Plus, buses.gg DM18 registered 70029 is seen here arriving at St Peter Port Bus Station on a north island circular route 22. Sunday 27th March 2016.
