Hanger 11's Red Tail Mustang lands at Duxford after its practice for the following day's Battle of Britain Air Show back in 2019. It wears its original World War II scheme from its time with 99th Fighter Squadron, 332nd Fighter Group "The Tuskegee Airmen".

I built this Gotham Police Department for Blocks Magazine to showcase these custom minifigs from United Bricks. While as usual I wanted to build something much smaller, the scope of the building I was trying to capture necessitated a much bigger build. This is the largest interior space I've built, half again as big as my steampunk laboratory. This one also required some specific details, like the Selectric typewriters.
Beach Regulations during Covid 19 are for small groups together with no more than 10 people in a group and to social distance from other groups of people on the beach.
The Ontario Government will shut a beach down if people violate this rule! They have already did it to 1 beach already!
So keep your distance and keep your groups small!

I shot almost 1,000 shots that day when I met this group of Naga White in order to get this kind of group flight one. Fortunately I made it.

Hey, the League group got past forty already! I'm so proud.
Also, completely unrelated, I figured while I'm home for ten minutes I'd tackle the Fifth incarnation of the League, which also may be my favorite honestly. This team was assembled in the 1940's to combat the menace of Adenoid Hynkel's agents. However they proved to be a quarrelsome lot, and disbanded after their first and only mission, which resulted in the explosion of The Iron Warrior.
Jimmy Grey: Rescued by The Nautilus during the Battle for London against the alien invaders, Grey went on to create a line of easily-piloted fish-shaped submarine, including The Iron Fish, his prized craft.
Flight Officer Joan Worrals: An ace pilot in the military and assigned leader of this incarnation of the League, Worrals served in the British Women's Auxiliary Air force, and boasted numerous medals and awards. Has a special relationship with her chief mechanic Betty Lovell.
The Iron Warrior: A massive and highly dangerous robotic man created, programmed, and remote-controlled by one Rodney Dearth (assumed deceased). The Warrior's original use was to assist in the hunting of treasure, but has since been altered to serving it's maker's country of origin against Hynkel's forces.
William Samson, The Wolf of Kabul: A gruff and violent spy and adventurer, Samson's father assisted The Murray League during the Martian Invasion. Samson himself volunteered for many dangerous and seemingly suicidal secret missions to foreign countries with his now-deceased sidekick Chung until he was called for duty by The British Secret Service.
Peter Bradley: The second Invisible Man, Bradley discovered the notes of Hawley Griffin, and managed to recreate Griffin's serum, turning himself permanently invisible. Unlike Griffin, Bradley is a noble individual, with a great sense of pride and justice. He would be an ideal operative if his constant smoker's cough didn't keep giving him away.
As with all the Leagues, these are all real characters from various works of fiction (all from the 40's and 50's), but I'll let you look into that yourselves.
