The Dutch crane barge, grounded on Walmer beach, attended by Sea Alfa, with the Marine Coastguard Agency ship in the background.

So, I'm working on accepting my feet - so I decided to play around with my feet and my shadow on the rock in our driveway - while I was waiting for a friend to come pick me up this morning. I tried the usual foot selfie, pointing it down, and it was bothering me so I let my creative side take over - I kept almost falling over trying to find the right angle where I could see my foot in the shadow but have it be 'separate' from my shoe. Haha! (Also I’m feeling kind of vulnerable by posting this one.)

This picture was taken from Sec. 217, Row 4, Seat 8 at Safeco Field on Sunday, May 29.
The Yankees beat the Mariners 7-1 to avoid a sweep at Safeco Field. CC Sabathia went eight innings for the win. Nick Swisher had an early home run, Andruw Jones had a bases clearing double, Robinson Cano had an RBI single, and Eduardo Nunez hit a not-so-pretty triple (the first of his career), scoring Jones. The Yankees scored five runs in the third, all with two outs.

This is another 3/4-10 foot ground rod, and this has been the hardest one to get in yet! The first four feet took a good five minutes. I am so thankful I have the Dewalt Hammer!

Having navigated through a very busy Solent on Wightlink's Fastcat Shanklin due to the Round the Island Yacht Race, for some strange reason, our Captain decided to go around this grounded yacht and end up ourselves on a very large sandbank!! Two hours later, when the tide rose sufficiently, we carried on on our journey to Ryde Pier.
Here is a little video clip I did this morning, showing how we ( nearly all of us ) have accumulated a very unwanted charge of Alternating Current (AC) running through our bodies. ( Our electrical appliances may like AC current, but nasty things happen to us when we accrue an AC charge, since we run on DC ). Perhaps the more significant part of the demo is where I show that we can connect with negatively charged electrons from the surface of our mother Earth ( which, like us, also runs on DC electricity.) Lastly, I also demonstrate that we are highly conductive beings by grounding my wife without her touching the mat.
I test out my HOOGA Grounding mat using a True RMS digital multimeter by ASTROAI M4KOR. The black terminal from the COM port is plugged into the Ground port of a 3 pin socket. I measure AC then DC voltage (potential difference) running through my body when grounded (foot on mat) and ungrounded (foot off mat). Here are the readings:
AC Ungrounded = + 4.20 V
AC Grounded = 0.0 V
DC Ungrounded = - 0.015 V
DC Grounded = - 0.289 V
AC Ungrounded = + 4 .29 V My Wife
AC Grounded = + 0.045 V My Wife through me !*
*Through me = I have a foot on the mat, and I ground my beautiful wife (reducing the AC voltage in her body a hundred fold) just by holding her hand ! She never touches the mat.
