Sa superficie est de 2 km2, dont près de 40 hectares gagnés sur la mer au cours des 20 dernières années. Elle s’étend sur une étroite bande côtière de 4100 mètres culminant à 163 mètres. Sa largeur varie de 1050 mètres à 350 mètres.

The Principality of Monaco is bordering with four municipalities of the French department of the Alpes-Maritimes (from west to east: Cap d'Ail, La Turbie, Beausoleil and Roquebrune Cap-Martin) and has a facade on the Mediterranean.

Its area is 2 km2, of which nearly 40 hectares have been won over the sea in the last 20 years. It stretches along a narrow coastal strip of 4100 meters culminating at 163 meters. Its width varies from 1050 meters to 350 meters.

Soeben hat der auf dem Bild zusehende TER Italien erreicht und wird ein paar Kilometer später den Personal/Systemwechselbahnhof Ventimiglia erreichen. In der nächsten Bucht des Mittelmeeres ist die französische Stadt Menton zu sehen. Im Vordergrund die Grotte dei Balzi Rossi.
