I spent a day at Griffith Park's Observatory, and took a loop of the area along Hollywood, Sunset, Santa Monica Blvds. Visited Koreatown and Chinatown before a nightly departure. LA is huge and the traffic is terrible!
A Quadraphenia fan. A wonderful Modder's scooter. Frankly, two wheels is the best way to get around LA. The traffic is maddening. And there is no parking when you reach your destination! As the song goes..."Walking in LA....nobody walks in LA!"
I am sure hundreds of thousands of visitors have taken a photo from this exact spot at the Griffith Observatory. Every time I come here I still can't resist taking another photo of the view. I am planning to hide in the back and come out after the observatory closes. Then I can stay up all night looking at the lights and dream of visiting distant galaxies.
