Thank you all for everything, I wish you a super, awesome, splendid, amazing 2017!

Thanks to all the people who work now under difficult conditions and make sure that we are well-cared for medically and with the means for daily life.
The current situation with the COVID-19 forces us to look at things from a different perspective. The new insights that we are gaining during this time and their scope will only be visible much later. But we can already see a newly awakened solidarity and helpfulness among people. I hope these many good examples will be much more "infectious" than the virus can ever be.
light in motion
the whole and the parts...
one winter morning I noticed how the sun was placed within the branches of this kowhai tree... and how the birds flew there... in and out of the circle of light... creating a space between feathers sunlight and silhouette... and an idea grew.. that maybe I'd be able to catch this combination of elements... find the moment of wholeness... the gestalt... between brightness and shadow and movement... the celestial journey of the sun, the slow language of the tree, and the flitting of a bird...
an ongoing practice in hope and patience :-)
I'm still feeling quiet... please feel free to be here in words or in silence too.
'There are moments in the day, when I just lose my self in sorrow, and forget...
...how the sky has been much bluer, and my life just so much sweeter since we met.
You make my day, with what you say, a world of calm, inside your arms, I hope you know.
The love you bring, the song you sing, I overflow, I hope you know, I hope you know.
My current mood.
Is gratitude.'

When the sun shows up between the clouds, even in a figurative way.../Tacksamhet, när solen visar upp sig mellan molnen, även i en bildlig bemärkelse.../Gratitud, cuando entre las nubes asoma el sol, aún en sentido figurado...(DSC_1777-3)
Dear friends wishing to each of you all the Best and Divine wishes for the coming New Year 2022,
May all the Truth be released,
May all cancers be healed freely especially through "MED BEDs" (highly advanced technologies) everywhere around the world on planet Earth,
May more and more people be awaken to their Divine Beingness and Conciousness... as well as their abilities!!!
May all the awaken ones stand up for their rights and reclaim their "sovereignty" in each country...
And so it is with Gratitude, Love and Light!
I put birdseed out year-round and the birds create these sunflowers for me. I certainly don’t plant them or even sow seeds, I choose to think of it as thank you from my feathered friends.
At times our own light dims and goes out, but is rekindled by the spark from another . . . or others. . . Lynn is grateful for all the prayers and well wishes as she went through her back surgery a week ago and is now well into recovery.
Mother Nature reminds me of all the things to be grateful for in this time of harvest and thanksgiving.
"If the only prayer that you said in your whole life was, 'thank you', that would suffice."

Sunset takes over “When Spring Days End.”
With no real threat of rain coming, this tells me that a wonderful Sunset will take us into a cool Spring night. Hopefully a great Sunrise will arrive in a few hours as we turn out the lights and we say good bye to another Spring day. Thanks for viewing my work. Gratitude and Kindness will usher us into a very nice week ahead.
It is with gratitude that I thank you all for the prayers I received for my son and I. Things have been very hard as I've struggled to get answers but we are taking steps now towards the right medication dosage and this has helped reduce his seizures significantly both in number and duration. Keeping myself calm, learning to recognise and avoid triggers has definitely helped. Thank you for your kindness xx
Beautiful July evening in the Weser Meadow between Porta Westfalica and Minden, Ostwestfalen, Germany
"No matter how good or bad your life is, wake up each morning and be thankful you still have one".....
On a recent trip to Door County Wisconsin, I stopped by the legendary Anderson Dock.
When I first got there to scope it out, it was raining with a sustained wind of at least 20-30 MPH. Not real good odds of getting a picture. As I waited around for sunset, the rain finally stopped and the sun poked out for just a few minutes to get this shot. I felt fortunate to get something for my trouble.
Per the Door County Pulse website... After Norwegian brothers Aslag and Halvor Anderson recognized the need for a deepwater dock in Ephraim, they constructed one in 1858. Throughout the 1880s, steamers arriving at the dock — most notably from the Goodrich Transportation Company — brought much-needed goods and much-appreciated tourists, and this activity ultimately vitalized Ephraim. Although the dock’s warehouse — the present-day Hardy Gallery — was built to store merchandise, it became a visible reminder of the sailors and ships that had stopped there.
Emily Irwin, outreach director and curator for the Ephraim Historical Foundation, explained that sailors arriving in Ephraim painted the name of their ship and the date on the side of the building as a way to mark their visit.
It’s a bit of a mystery exactly when the graffiti tradition began, but sailors were known to write on the warehouse from around 1910 into the 1950s, perhaps to express their relief and gratitude for a safe passage through the notorious Death’s Door waters, or simply to commemorate their arrival in Ephraim.
In 1949, the Ephraim Historical Foundation purchased the dock and warehouse from the Anderson family, and in 1961, the foundation leased the building to the Hardy Gallery. Through these shifts, however, the graffiti tradition has remained intact, with the public picking up where the sailors left off.

I rescued this little orchid - it was sent to a friend in France a couple of years ago and got badly damaged in transit. I brought it home and gave it some TLC and it's now rarely out of flower - HMBT!
Thank you very much for visiting, my friends.
