Out for the day (Sept. 26th 2020) watching trains roll by at the Santa Fe Depot - San Bernardino. Arrived around 10:30AM, and left a little after 5PM. One thing I learned. 23mm is not great for trains this close. 16mm, is also not wide enough for trains this close... I need to somehow gain access to a different part of the yard, or go back to my regular benching spots.
Saw some great pieces, but missed some too because the cars go by sooo fast when you're standing 15-20 feet away.
A few shots in this set are monikers from when one train rolled by real slow and I was able to spot and capture the monikers. You'll have to zoom into these quite a bit to see them, but they're worth checking out.
5 hour time lapse from today captured on SJ4000 "Action Cam" One, 5MP photo every 15 seconds.
Another zoom, slightly cropped...
From the 4th of July celebration at Gahagan Park, Summerville, SC...
