This is a style I like to draw a lot in. It’s known as rubber hose style - sometimes called rubber band too. It's a technique that was prominent in many animated cartoons during the 1920s and 30s, in movies such as Steamboat Willie and the work that came out of Fleischer Studios. The board also has a new school tattoo flare to it which is prominent in a lot of my art - heavy outlines, vivid colors, and exaggerated depictions of subjects.
