It isn't even hot here. Room temperature is about 22°C and all case fans are operational.
If I had a hot-air thingy I could try to reflow the RAM chips. But a replacement card is much cheaper than getting a cheap hot-air station. Maybe I will keep the card for experimenting with it later.
HME 2009, Day 1: MSI gaming notebook GX623 with a Core 2 Duo P7350 CPU and a ATI Mobility Radeon HD4670.
I Have recently had to change out my graphics card to keep me in the 21'st century of gaming and as we took the old one out a mate of mine suggested using it with the Friesians for a few photos.
So here's what I got....
I stood the case up so gravity would have an effect on the cables. I wanted to see how the cables would hang when the case was in the position it would be used in. One motherboard power cable is no longer resting on the heatsink (it needed some help), and the excess length on the SATA power cables was put into the 5.25 drive bay.

Well, I've put up long enough with Matrox Graphics' half-assed support of Linux for their graphics cards. I love their cards for their fabulous image quality in 2D graphics. But if I can't get a graphical desktop on a Linux distro out of the box then yer history pal. So, for the new computer—which runs fine, thank-you very much, after I pulled out two faulty memory modules—it's getting the new Nvidia GeForce 8800 GT. DirectX 10 support for a reasonable price. And it was on sale, too! :)
