This was a project in my Typography class Fall quarter of 2009. We were to map out our journey from home to school using only type, hence Typographic Journey.
From my doodles I have to narrow down my choice for the final design.
Sometimes a design looks very different once vectoized, and it isn't until you do a couple of trial drawings that you get a real sense of what might work and what you really like.
Above represents the 'finalists'!

I designed a print ready flyer around their original graphic "Be The Difference Discover" which they created with Word. I worked with it the best I could in order to integrate it with my flyer design.

This little self-initiated project is something I've really enjoyed working on. Basically, these notebooks are constructed from all the excess paper and card, old photocopies and random imagery that I've managed to collect over the years.
Each notebook is A6 size(ish) and everyone has its own unique 'sentence' on the front. When they're all bound I'm probably going to sell them somewhere but I'd love to know what you think of them and whether you'd be interested in purchase one.

For the Royal Brisbane Hospital. These illustrations were created for use in a presentation to medical/clinal staff about Indigenous People's journey through the health system.
This was my other piece in the Senior Show, which are labels for a brand of spices. They are 2 color, no bleed, to meet the requirements of the assignment. The idea is to combine the two things associated with spices - grandma's home cooking and soemthing with a punch! And of course there is the element of humor. I finally decided on showing this because it also shows my illustrations in the little grandma drawings which I always would get complimented on.
