During this assignment we were challenged to create a series of book covers based on a concept we came up with. We could choose any 4 Barnes and Noble Classics, but each book had to have one common theme to tie them all together.
I chose the theme of “beating the odds”, so I included The Odyssey, Robinson Crusoe, Sailing Alone around the World, and Call of the Wild and White Fang.
I chose a minimalist approach to try and emphasize the small against the large, and I think it worked out fairly well.
Davidson was a graphic design design student who was approached to make a design for Nike. She got $35 for her efforts. And now it's the most recognisable logo in the world.
Patch of the logo I designed for the G.I.S.D. Mariachi Estrellas band. (excellent translation; no details lost.)
Title page made in photoshop for an ongoing photo-documentary about broken umbrellas found after rainfall.
