Flynn's desk terminal graphic, turned into an iPad lock screen. When Sam first wakes the machine up, it goes through a "boot-up" process where the green boxes fill up. I kinda liked that, so I did a separate version for just that.
(Note: the bits in the corners do not ever show on an actual iPad.)
Prompt: Each square must be populated by triangles, squares, or circles. Only one shape per square and they must be within those three colors of red blue yellow. I did the odd # rows and Neil did the even # rows.

The original image is a color painting by Elizabeth Livingston, “Before I Could Answer,” 2006, oil on canvas, 84 x 72 in., courtesy the artist. In this card the image has been converted into a duo-tone image of black and silver due to budget limitation.
Worked really hard on this design for startup weekend chapel hill along with Matt, Kelli and Brian. Got to play designer for a change . . . really fun and I feel proud of the result. The bird/birdhouse design is actually a flash animation that forresto made and it is gorgeous. The site, WorkPerch, is designed as a directory of cooperative work spaces that contractors, entrepreneurs, and really anyone who is looking to "micro rent" workspace can use. So far, there's no such service on the net that does this.
This is the final version of the cover of the program for a teaching series we started this past weekend, which examines how both culture and religion get it wrong when it comes to our sexuality. The first draft was posted here:
