Made this 18 years ago for my brother in laws birthday, he actually re stained the piece with darker stain, not my choice, I like the original clear oil stain,

I love how that woodgrain pops. the tiles are Granite,

It is all cedar, poured cement mixture to the top and I inlay little dragonflies and fish with pebbles,

That was before I built my pond, my love for Dragonflies started from a childhood in Greece,

A friend of mine asked me to explain depth of field to him. So, I laid these wooden letters on granite tiles in our family store where we sell all kinds of decorations and accessories. I opened my lens wide open at f/2.8 to take the shot and raised ISO a bit to increase shutter speed avoiding handheld camera shake.
