1998 Toyota Granvia in Bonn, Germany.
The Granvia sold on the Japanese market served as basis for the Toyota Hiace sold in Europe from 1995-2012. This Granvia was imported to the UK for use as a campervan.
La nevada de ayer acabó en seguida. Para hoy se anuncia una colosal, inmensa, como las del Polo Norte más o menos. Pensaba quedarme en casa hasta que pasara el temporal pero al final he tenido que salir así que he ido haciendo unas fotos para no pasar frío.
Primera parada, la Gran Vía.
En las tres postales pone lo mismo: Madrid. Avenida de José Antonio.
Ese es el nombre que tuvo la Gran Vía desde el año 1939 hasta 1981, aunque no recuerdo que nadie emplease ese nombre.

Classic JDM 2-tone colour scheme. This one appears to be a relatively recent import, DVLA says first registered here in 2014.
This Toyota Granvia is an interesting model built for the Japanese market but now registered in Sweden. The Granvia was a luxury version of the HiAce, which was avalilable in Europe. Toyota built the Granvia from 1995 until 2002.

Postal editada por Hauser y Menet. No sé la fecha pero dado que el nonbre de Avenida de Pi y Margall se mantuvo hasta el comienzo de la guerra civil, tiene que ser anterior al 36.

The Granvia is a sub model within the fourth generation HiAce range.In Australia, the Granvia was sold as the HiAce SBV. the Granvia is a semi-bonneted van, with the front wheels positioned in front of the front seats for better safety. Available with seven- and eight-seater configurations and in rear-wheel drive or four-wheel drive, it is based on the regular HiAce. Because of tighter safety regulations, this model replaced the mid-engined HiAce in Europe and several other markets. The engines for Granvia are either a 2.4 L or 3.0 L diesel, or 2.7- and 3.4 L petrol. The Granvia spawned into the upmarket multi-purpose vehicles the HiAce Regius, the Grand HiAce and the Touring HiAce. The Granvia, Grand HiAce, and Touring HiAce are upmarket passenger vans only. In Europe, the Granvia-based HiAce sold from 1995 was usually equipped with the 2.5L 2KD-FTV diesel engine in a variety of versions. The HiAce underwent a facelift in 2006, with bigger "jewel-style" headlights, and continued to be built in this form until 2012, replaced by the Toyota ProAce
