It’s long live Elvis once again at the PNE 2010 fairgrounds during the Annual Evening With Elvis. Despite the less than perfect weather (it rained quite heavily at times), the audience was only drenched with emotions in reminiscing The King. Noted Vancouver radio and TV personality Red Robinson hosted the event as a tribute The King and he chatted with Elvis Presley best friend Joe Esposito before award-winning Elvis tribute artist Stephen Kabakos performed some of Elvis’s best-known songs such as Don’t Be Cruel, Love Me Tender, It’s Now Or Never and Suspicious Minds. Music that made The King of Rock and Roll such an international star in the 1950s, 60s, 70s and beyond. Perform Kabakos did, complete with many of the Elvis trademark moves that had the girls screaming to this day. As with tradition, when the concert was over, Robinson came out to announced that Elvis had left the building. Yet, no one was eager to move on.

Michael Jackson and Bobby Martin first met one another back stage in the year 1971. The Jackson Five were on tour and Bobby Martin didn't think that he would ever end up working with Michael Jackson and The Jacksons in the studio. Bobby Martin was busy producing and conducting, and touring with singers like Patti LaBelle. Bobby Martin was a producer, promoter and executive back in the early 1970s. Bobby Martin worked with Gamble & Huff throughout the late 1960s. In 1970 Bobby Martin signed with producers Gamble & Huff at Philadelphia International Records. And in 1976 Epic Records set up a deal with Gamble and Huff (Kenneth Gamble & Leon Huff), and so they called in Bobby Martin for the project. They recorded the Jackson Five at Philadelphia International Records. On this album The Jackson Five were named The Jacksons instead of The Jackson Five, and that was the name of the album as well (The Jacksons). Bobby Martin is planning on producing The Jacksons in 2012, The Jacksons are planning to go back on tour this year as well.

This year's event was at Hollywood's SLS Hotel and The House of Hype's highly-anticipated annual Grammy bash had celebrities and media influencers partying with hosts Swizz Beatz, Chaka Zulu, Noel Lee & Kevin Lee. VIP guests were also treated to an open bar and bottle service and music to the sounds of DJ Irie and DJ Cobra.

Arranger Producer Bobby Martin and MFSB. Guess who's the band leader of these expert musicians that played on so many hit albums? That's right, The Great Legendary Arranger Bobby Martin. This was Bobby Martins band. You can see Bobby Martin there in the middle of this photo amongst the musicians in his band. This band was so powerful, they went on to win Grammys as an instrumental group. Producer Bobby Martin conducted this band live in concert and played vibraphone with the band in concert, and on television.
The Grammys are screaming Cuz I Love You to Lizzo: The breakthrough singer-rapper scored a whopping eight nominations, including bids for the top four awards, making her the show’s top-nominated act.
