Na minha opinião um dos destino de viagem mais top do Brasil! A cidade esbanja beleza por onde o turista passa.
Some of my favorite things in Gram's. From left:
-I took a little sewing box from China and filled it with some of Lisa Engler's things.
-Lisa's collar and collar stand kit, I added a little cameo.
-Sewing machine and box from Gaelatelier on Etsy.
-Flowers in bucket made by Sue Kulec. This will actually go in the brocante. It's just "visiting" Gram's : )
-Gloves also made by Sue.
For a moment, until I looked closely, it looked like the prices for coffee beans at the Second Cup had really become inexpensive. Not so; instead of the by-the-pound (or 454-gram) packaging to which I had been accustomed in the industry, Second Cup is selling its beans by 100-gram increments. It's definitely in the same ballpark, but seems more reasonable when each component costs the same as a latte.
Foi o chão que acolheu quando eu perdi meu corpo, quando os dragões dançavam, quando eu pedia silêncio. Foi o chão, que respirava e pulsava, que acolheu. E a grama, e as formigas, e a casca da árvore. Cabeça colada no chão. Preciso lembrar, preciso lembrar. Aterrar.

I did this many years ago. I really must get back into my painting in the future! I do miss it.
I painted this after my mom gave me a rocking chair. My daughter now has it.
My gramma, making faces, trying not to cry. She gets really emotive sometimes, specially when I go visit her.
This day I had taken her white chocolate cake ;D
Lately she's obsessed with the idea of her death and her funeral. She's been talking a lot about it. The "problem" is that she's really strong, and I tell her that she's got another 5 years to go, at least. She's 88 now.
She gets all fazed when I say that, she says "I'm cursing her, she wants to go already". :P

Povo do sky... eu não sou exatamente fã de filme brasileiro. Tem alguns (poucos) que eu gostei, o top é "Tropa de Elite". Amo! Mas esses dias eu vi o trailer de um filme, e gostei!

Nossa, e eu estava justamente pensando esses dias que o Brasil precisava produzir filmes de ação, produzir filmes diferentes, filmes que fugissem de certos clichês de filmes feitos ultimamente.
Elzando a descrição que li em outro site: "Diferentemente dos filmes brasileiros que vêm sendo feitos, não tem atores da Globo, não é “cabeça”, não é comédia romântica, não parece novela que foi parar no cinema e também não parece chato e pretensioso.
Parece um filme bom filme de ação!
“Besouro” custou R$ 10 milhões de reais por causa da grande produção, dos efeitos especiais (o capoeirista voa, minha gente!) e das lutas coreografafadas, feitas pelo dublê do Jet Li, Huen Chiu Ku."
Adorei quando o guri fala o nome que ele escolheu: "Bisôro" hahahah tão fofo! Me lembra meu sobrinho. As imagens são lindas! Esse filme até vou assistir no cinema!
O único problema que eu vejo, é a maneira meio simplista da Globo filmes tratar os enredos. Sempre inventam romancezinhos, amassos, para deixar a coisa toda mais "interessante". Tem várias liberdades poéticas, no filme, claro. Mas acho interessante o Brasil começar a fazer filme pra ganhar dinheiro grande.
