Chocolate Mousse Pie
I made this with my friend in his apartment and it was so much fun! We bought a graham cracker crust and chocolate chips, butter, and cream. So good!
Individual serving, 4-inch tartlet. This presentation topped with chopped, salted, candied macadamias, and a plain tip, piped 'swirl' of the white chocolate mousse along with the lime slices and macadamia syrup drizzle. Simply adorned with a gorgeous, ripe, sliced strawberry

The story of the day was a surprise return to normalcy for our weekend. Boomer had been planning to go to DC, but thanks to Pookie's broken-down car that ended up not happening. Which meant that we could try out a new recipe that we'd been really eager for this weekend instead of having to wait until next weekend when Boomer could be here to try it too. Oh, yeah, and it also meant we'd still be able to hang out with Boomer this weekend. But primarily we were all excited about dessert.
Behold, s'mores bars! From this month's Food & Wine magazine. Dude, these are SO FREAKING GOOD. But we had a much lower meringue-to-bar ratio than the picture in the magazine, so next time we'll just have to double the meringue.
