The Dai Ko Myo (traditional) symbol superimposed over the 'Reiki Angel' I created which again is superimposed over a rainbow graphic.
A while ago, I added the capability to create arbitrary color gradients to my cell phone camera app I'm writing. (I did this for the color map filter I wrote.) One of the features I added to the gradient manager was the ability to save gradients as files. And so, here is a hue gradient (which ranges from 0° on the left to 360° on the right, in the HSB colorspace).
Round, 360° variant (with, unfortunately, red (at 0°) at the bottom).
The pattern is Temescal by Arlette Thibodeau. It uses a really unusual stitch pattern to create a really cool texture that plays nicely with gradient yarns!
An adventure in dyeing yarn so that it knits into a gradient!

I am not 100% pleased with the shape of the cat but I love the look of the gradient background. I used 7 colors of ink to achieve this. Then a fine mist of Perfect Pearls in water to blend and shine it up. It is lovely! I can work on the cat for next time. Enjoy, Linda aka Oz
