In my dream you are mine
but in my life you are a dream ...

Every Teardrop Is A Waterfall
TEARDROPS IN A WATERFALL
Put me on a pedestal like all the flowers of Spring
and I will topple from your eyes like teardrops in a waterfall
Build me up and let me fall and lift me up again
and I may linger on the grass and taste the Summer rain
Let me go before the Fall and watch the Autumn leaves
the brightest colours will grow dull with endless wind and rain
When Winter comes around again let's make our vows anew
and welcome in the soft snow fall to settle on our pain
The seasons come the seasons go and still we fall apart
I need to dance beneath the moon to warm my aching heart
I listen to Vivaldi; Four Seasons that were mine
let slip your hand and walk away, this never was our time …

"Sometimes it takes more strength to walk away, than it does to stay ..."
Sometimes life can just get in the way of the things you cherish and enjoy and you find yourself needing a time out................
I did, now after a short break I'm back, refreshed and
rejuvenated.....now to catch up 😃😄
I can't see clear but my mind don't mind,
Rolling down the street - rolling down to downtown,
I've been living in the past where we don't exist,
Memories are shallow and they just don't mean shit..

Not all break ups are hard to take. I was delighted to see the last of the ice flows on the North Saskatchewan River drifting past on a 27C afternoon. This is enhanced for Sliders Sunday.

the enchantment of almost unspoilt nature experienced on a long walk along the Ingleton waterfalls trail in the Yorkshire Dales National Park. Here an impression of the forest alongside the rocky bed of river Twiss, which forms about 12 waterfalls along this trail.
Today at the gym I was a little more than miffed when another member swiped my bench while I was getting another weight. No worries though. Thanks to them and a break in my routine I my new spot had a great view. In the end another person gave me hand with a piece of equipment that was giving me so trouble. It all seems to work out in the end.

We are still under a drought watch here in the Finger Lakes, so I try to keep the birdbath cleaned and filled daily.
What a marvelous and vibrant scene the nature offered me to capture. I stood on a wobbly wooden bridge to capture this amazing beauty ...

I walked the trail in Capilano River Regional Park and appreciated the beauty of this great river.
We, the Vancouverites, are blessed as we can see all these great mountains, great forests, great rivers and great oceans!
The image is converted to B&W so that I can see the real beauty in the slow shutter captured water flow.

If you're not willing to take a risk for something you really care about, you might as well be dead....

A person has three choices in life:
You can swim against the tide and get exhausted
You can tread water and let the tide sweep you away
You can swim with the tide, and let it take you where it wants you to go.
