My original worries (see the previous image) were unjust to this clever bird. It's beyond my comprehension how he knew that among the dense crown of the acacia tree one of its branches concealed a tasty grub, which he extracted and then enjoyed on a nearby eucalypt.

Exploring more light table subjects. I'll work this out of my system soon but wish I had a bit more artistic flair in the arrangements. I sort of just plopped things down. Trying to figure out the best way to process these too, I guess I need to watch some Photoshop tutorials on layers and HDR processing.

The Alcove is a very popular cafe with a large outdoor patio and a small annex, the Village Gourmet, selling specialty foods. I like the representation of California wine country in the sign.
