Anyone remember the one where Popeye traveled to the island of the Goonies? Looks like a Goony nose to me...

Anyway, this one is of the moon setting over some large rock formations in Joshua National Park.

Have a nice day!

We have arrived at our new home, safe and mostly sound. And this image is a not-so-subtle clue where we moved to. 😉

Taken from a very similar spot as the last image posted, I was frantically adjusting to capture the last bit of light as the sun dipped beneath the horizon. The crowds were dispersing and camera crews moving on, allowing me to finally get to some favorite spots. It seems El Matador beach never disappoints when it comes to beautiful scenery and photographic opportunities.

Also, I'll note exactly why I love my camera: this is a single exposure. The sensor is fantastic at capturing the dynamic range of a scene and maintaining details in the shadows.

Getting in some practice for all the self-portrait photos to come. Framing needs work. As done hand steadiness

No, it obviously isn't the real Goonies (movie) gate but close :)

Film: Fomapan 100 iso

Camera: Ilford Sportsman 1957.

I'm sure women are allowed to use it though ;) Tough t*ts really because I already did!! :)-

Makes me chuckle thinking about the series name of 'Sports' because I think the absolute opposite is true for this camera. It would be too sloooow for a sloth playing Musical Statues.

First Model with Circular viewfinder window. Although it is an Ilford camera it was made in (West) Germany. Hence why the lens is so good for an amateur camera in my opinion :D.

More images to follow to demonstrate the decent lens sharpness much better than this image.

A collaboration of me and Legostone (Be sure to check out his stream).

I had this nougat coloured hull lying about for some time, intending to try my hand at the Inferno, as seen in the move The Goonies. When Legostone came over for a weekend of ship-building, we decided to add some more interesting features to the design, such as side galleries, additional gun ports, another lateen rigged mast and a more interesting partitioning of the deck. I've decided to keep the name nonetheless.
