LOL...Google's not as smart as you think they are! I finally decided to sign up for Google AdSense since I'm thinking of launching a few new websites. I put the first ad code up on my older website, www.thediamondtech.com, and these were the first two ads that showed up. Kinda funny, the whole site is about fractals and a DVD :-))

I spotted this Google Car up in Donegal and ended up following it all the way across the county. It'll be interesting to see if end up on Google Maps Street View, as he was speeding up to try and lose me. Without sucess.
They were in the news in Ireland today for harvesting data and storing it from people's unsecured wi-fi devices.
National Data Protection guidlines do not apply to Google.

From the Irish Times: "Google said its fleet of cars responsible for photographing streets around the world had for several years accidentally collected personal information - which a security expert said could include email messages and passwords - sent by consumers over wireless networks."
Amen Corner, Newcastle upon Tyne, Tyne and Wear, England.
Amen Corner This small street with the unusual name is beside the south side of the Cathedral Church of St. Nicholas. Processions of clergy would end their prayers at this point. The corner of the building here was once the home of The Guardian Assurance Company but is now part of Castle View Apartments. There are similarly named streets in London, Rotherham, and New York.
Amen Corner was a Welsh pop group formed in Cardiff in 1966. They took their name from a weekly discotheque at the Victoria Ballroom. Their first hit was "(If Paradise Is) Half as Nice" in early 1969, followed by another Top 5 entry with the Roy Wood composition, "Hello Susie". They disbanded in 1969. The lead singer, Andy Fairweather-Low, went on to a successful solo career as a performer, songwriter, and producer that continues today.

Google must be updating their 'Street View' imagery , with the Vauxhall Astra in Google Street View Wrap coming out of Cottonmill Drive in
Milton of Campsie and it's multifaceted cameras on the roof.
Found a number of exceptionally beautiful landform images in Google Earth. For GIS purposes, Aerial and satellite images can be exaggerated or artifically enhanced color and contrast. But they can be very interesting.
