Google the kitten was spotted whilst collecting cats for SCAD’s weekly sterilization project, with his hugely swollen right eye looking very painful and sore. After speaking with her community carers, who were also looking after his 2 siblings, SCAD staff took Google to the vets where he saw an eye specialist who diagnosed him with chronic glaucoma. This condition has caused immense pressure within Google’s eye, which has led to blindness and painful swelling. Given the appalling condition of the eye, the only long term solution is its removal. Brave little Google will have his operation in 2 months (September 2011) once he is large enough to be able to cope with the surgical procedure, but until then he is being well looked after at SCAD, receiving treatment to minimise his discomfort. As he has already gone through so much pain during his short life, little Google has been welcomed into the SCAD adoption program, becoming a SCAD sponsorship animal, and we hope once he is healed he will find a loving home!
Google was named not only due to his ‘googly’ eye, but also as a thanks to top web company Google, whose selection of SCAD as their featured charity in their recent Thai advertising campaign has brought us a whole host of new supporters! Thank you Google!

The best way to experience Google Earth.
I especially liked the note on the screen: Press 1 for Earth, 2 for Mars, 3 for Moon.

Google's blog-hosting service launched a new function that finally allows bloggers to see the number of "hits", where the hits are coming from, as well as how they come to a blog (sources of search results).
The blog's top visitors are:
1) Americans
2) Canadians and Brits (tied)
3) French, Germans, Spaniards, Russians and Indians (tied).
The results are rather surprising to me, to be frank.
Was just checking out the new Google Profile and this is what mine looked like. Forgot that I associated that photo with my Gmail account. I think I like it that way, tho :)
