Emaillierter Kindernachttopf "Merker" (Ø 22 cm) in handbemaltem Topfständer aus Holz (Marke "bébé-jou") damit Kind und Topf nicht umkippen können.
Intrigueing flash from the 80's or 90's. German design, but made in Japan. Works like a charm and the softlight seems to hold true in my initial test. Takes 2 AA batteries.
Special price: 69,- (guilders), about €30 now. Found at the fleamarket.

Life is good for russians under the Putin regime heck, there is plenty of cheap vodka and a supply of bread for now. Then there are those 'zakuskis", mostly fish however, not as plentiful as the good old times back in the USSR since most fish stock are already depleted by the huge factory ships the soviet union once had.
Housing is a priority now due to the growing russian population now that Crimea has been added and Putin is delivering just as the picture shows!
I had a difficult time finding something good this week. I actually have a lot of pictures around this time because it's my birthday week, and I was hoping to find a good birthday cake shot or the like to post. However, most of the decent ones were taken by other people and the only pictures I seem to have taken were either random (and usually unflattering) candids of friends or pictures of dinner.
These two were somewhat better ones from the bunch. I organized a "design your own bag" birthday party in 2004 for some girlfriends at Blibetroy, a bag store that used to be down the block from our place. They sold readymade handmade cases, pouches and bags but you could also pick fabrics from their selection and customize a bag to your taste. Everyone got something made and we had snacks and wine. It was such a fun time!
