Raking and Laying Waddles

About 20 volunteers planted trees, built fence and seeded the restored pool-and-drop Goodenough Creek and campground area on National Public Lands Day 09/26/15. Goodenough Creek and Campground is at the foot of the Bannock Range. Campground amenities include 13 primitive campsites and 3 Picnic tables, fire rings, vault toilet, portable toilet (seasonal), trails, parking lot and playground. Idaho Department of Parks and Recreation provided a grant allowing the Bureau of Land Management Pocatello Field Office (PFO) to install a 30-foot ATV bridge across Goodenough Creek. The bridge enhances the safety of ATV and motorcycle users crossing the creek while protecting fish migration for the Yellowstone Cutthroat Trout.

Mayor of Wallingford Dee Cripps and Driver Dave Goodenough at the footplate

For me, in the mid 80's, this shot was a big challenge. But they loved it and I got a lot of work from Redken because of it. As the art directors moved around among the big cosmetics companies, I managed to work with several of them for many years. Copyright © Chuck Goodenough All Rights Reserved. On Tuesday, November 17, I stepped out on the balcony of our condo (unit 2010 in the 360 Condominiums building) when I noticed that the The University of Texas Tower was lit orange yet again. When the tower is illuminated with orange lighting, it typically signals a UT sports win or some other celebratory event. In this case, it was lighted orange in honor of UT professor Dr. John B. Goodenough sharing in The Eric and Sheila Samson Prime Minister’s Prize for Innovation in Alternative Fuels for Transportation. (Apologies for the poor/grainy quality of this pic; my iPhone doesn't zoom very well...)
