Not really inspired today but they do represent me and my life - laid by my beautiful girls Dolly, Daydream and Isabel they are free range and wander around our veg patch and orchard. The egg is itself a container of life!

My favourite salad roll. It's a dish that I actually crave during the year. It's easy to make and you can't go wrong with it.
SICILIAN TUNA SALAD ROLL
- Canned Tuna in Oil (Italian Style)
- Bread Roll (French Stick)
- Red Chilli (Bird's Eye)
- Coriander
- Salt
- Pepper (Black or Multi-Coloured)
- Lemon (Juice)
- Sicilian Green Olives
- Kalamata Olives
- Baby Capers
I'm having this with ice cold Italian Basil Lemonade. It goes well with the roll, plus it's delicious and refreshing on a hot summer day.
ITALIAN BASIL LEMONADE
1. Making the Basil Infused Syrup
- Basil
- Sugar or Honey (I'm using 1 tablespoon of Capilano's Seasonal Edition of RAW River Red Gum with particles of honeycomb and pollen)
- Water
Mix and heat up the above in a saucepan on medium heat. Remove from heat and leave to cool down and to allow the basil to infuse the syrup. Strain the syrup and remove the basil leaves.
2. Making the Lemonade
- Lemon, the juice
- Basil Infused Syrup
- Ice
- Lemon Slices (garnish)
- Basil Leaves (garnish)

Goodlife has a large booth at the entrance to the Canada Army Run's Expo. This chain of exercise facilities is continually working to sign up new clients for annual (or longer) memberships. One way to do this is to have a contest whereby the participant fills in a small survey and wins a short-term trial membership to Goodlife, as well as chances to win other fabulous prizes.
The contest survey is done on an iPad, rather than on paper. These two runners are taking part in the survey. Why not?
