My wife bought a rose bush on clearance this summer. It seems to have taken well to her flower garden because we are getting a lot of buds and blossoms.
Tinker Toy, the foster cat my wife helped to rescue last night. We are currently fostering her for a local pet rescue organization.
Both the Canon 85mm f/1.8 & the Sigma 70-200mm f/2.8 are SOLD now which means the 135L didn't cost me very much at all. Less in fact than a good Saturday night around the local pub :o)

My wife and I have a neighbor with a purple crepe myrtle tree. Today, after heavy rains, the branches lowered significantly. It appears the wind may have damaged the tree, and the weight of the water brought the blossoms to eye level. I snapped this image from the street.
