So we went for a summer afternoon walk between Somerton and Deddington and back in the Cherwell valley. The walk is a loop, and the field with the distant tree and people crossing visible in image 1 is the field with the path and tree in image 8.
The weather started out a little breezy, cloudy but with sunshine. About half way round the clouds began to build and we could hear thunder in the distance. About 10min after the last picture in the series was taken the heavens opened and we were drenched, with the rain falling hard until we got home.

Saw this on a belated photo expedition that turned into a quest for some black and tan...the last minutes of sunlight, shining on a sun-substitute, powered by fossil fuels that had origins in plants and sunlight...

Some walkers at sunrise have left the first early morning footprints in the sand at Bronte Beach, Sydney, ready to be washed away by the waves in the rising tide.
Deep down a lush country road we found a local fishing spot as we crossed the bridge. You can feel the change in the air as you cross over the bridge... so cool and fresh with the windows open in the car. Just had to stop and shoot.
