This is a breeding adult doing it's best to chase me away. They come in fast and right at you. When they fly up just inches from your head, they poop on you. I held my camera up and just held the shutter trigger down hoping I got something. I did this several times and this is the best one. I did have to clean off the camera. Nickerson Beach Park, Long Island NY.
These last remnants of a long gone northern Illinois farm are poised to be swallowed up by nature soon....
"And that is how you let it go." she concluded, turning to look towards a serious Ory who seemed to be listening intensely. Meanwhile she heard a little whine and saw Hector yawning, did her story really make him sleepy? And look who is stretching! Maybe he just woke up? Pfft!
Before we say goodbye, let go
But I'm lost in the maze of my heart
From stereo to mono
That's how the path splits
If my fate is to disappear like this, then this is my last letter
Penned words, written then erased
Feelings for you, so many to let go
Unpuzzle my lego
At a level where it can't return to its original shape
So be it don't cry, I'mma let you go and fly
Hectic days, keeping myself busy
Distraction filled schedule
But I won't forget
Burned into the back of my mind like tattoo
We can't return to those days
If I could, I'd call your name
No, but I'll accept your blame
It really is time to say goodbye
In order to release your hand right now
I gotta let you know (Gotta let you know)
That I need to let you go (Need to let you go)
Hard to say goodbye, but I can't run
What have you been up to lately?
Who are you thinking of so far away?
Life without you is really unbelievable
But even so I still gotta go
To the person I loved too much
To the red thread that got too entangled in itself
I couldn't reach you, so I'll walk a separate path
For that reason, I'll say goodbye
At first every day is like that
Beyond the tears hidden in the rain
I'll wait for you, let's start over
So that in the future
I can meet you again with a smile
Goes Netherlands should not be missed by anyone visiting Belgium it’s just a few extra train stops on your journey but well worth effort and your reward is seafood at its freshest, Zeeland province supplies most of the moules for Belgian bellies in their most favorite dish of mussels and fries. The older I get the more I want to be up for an early morning walkabout to see my location, if you are especially lucky you will see night turn to sunrise and soft scenes painted in golden horizontal light usually just shared only with early commuters or garbage guys. There is something so magical about exploring a place that you have never been and to try to capture the tranquil feel of having the place all to yourself if only for a fleeting hour or so.
I took this on Sept 19, 2008 with my D70s and Tamron 18-200mm f/3.5-6.3 Lens at 25mm, 1/200s, f7.1 ISO 200 processed in LR, PS +Lumenzia ,Topaz, and DXO Nik

I know and you're right... It's been a long period of photographic immobility. SInce my last upload, many times have I tried to take and make photos, still nothing made sense, forcing me to feel that I had lost my way to visualize images. Things changed a bit the past two weeks, when the weather worsened so much as to make the lake freeze in its entireness, opening fresh photographic posibilities. I gathered myself and 3 days in a row I roamed in snowy and frosty areas, full gear on my back. Three afternoons and evenings, struggling to find my pace and creativity. I know not, if I've succeeded anything with this one. It looked pretty good to me. The ''Dutch'', as is the name of this boat in Greek, cought amidst ice and snow, attracted my attention from the start. It gave me a hard time finding an acceptable angle of view though. I hope you enjoy it. Nice to see you all again.
Location, Lake of Kastoria, Hellas.

Deeply hidden in the dense forests lies a small, very special kingdom: Peaville! Legend has it that a pea princess once fell from the sky and, after some confusion, met the king of the peanuts who ruled there – they fell in love and from then on they ruled the kingdom together, which holds some wondrous secrets! A special magic lies over this land and the attackers from outside try everything to invade, but—will they succeed?

'One side will make you grow taller, and the other side will make you grow shorter.'
'One side of WHAT? The other side of WHAT?' thought Alice to herself.
'Of the mushroom,' said the Caterpillar, just as if she had asked it aloud; and in another moment it was out of sight.
During our 1 1/2 hour drive home from one of my neurofeedback appointments this past May we saw this storm for probably about the last 30 minutes of the drive and drove through it—then we met it at home too. This is the road that leads to our home. At this point in the road it appears to me as though we will drive right up into the clouds.

This is one of many photos I’ve taken from the passenger seat as we drive twice each week to my neurofeedback appointments. This practice of seeing, appreciating and capturing my surroundings from the moving car can sometimes be very helpful for me.
So day 13 of our lockdown and I'm losing it, taking pictures of the flipping moon in daylight from my back garden! Just about to go back out and start howling at it.
Hope everyone is coping in the strange times.
A tight crop of a fishing boat named HASTE, 'catching' some low in the sky, early evening, golden sunrays.

MV HASTE looked to be well equipped and ready to GO FISH
This fishing boat appeared to be moored rather loosely, as she tugged and swayed at the 'end of her rope'
The scenic, Steveston Heritage Fishing Village is a charming & ever so romantic fishing village that is situated in Richmond BC on the Mighty Fraser River
Definitely one of British Columbia's best kept secrets.
