Dutch:
Sergeant: Horen jullie dat geluid ook?
Soldaat: Kijk daar Sergeant, vliegtuigen!
Sergeant: Verdomme, het zijn de Duitsers! Volg mij mannen! hier zijn wij niet veilig, naar dat bos!
Soldaat: Ze komen recht op ons af, sergeant!
Sergeant: RENNEN!
Soldaat: Dit gaat niet goed aflopen...
Sergeant: Kop dicht en rennen, godverdomme!
English:
Sergeant: Do you men hear that sound too?
Soldier: Look Sergeant, airplanes!
Sergeant: Damn, it's the Germans! Follow me, men! We're not safe here, too that forest!
Soldier: They're coming right at us, sergeant!
Sergeant: RUN!
Soldier: This won't end well ...
Sergeant: Shut up and run, goddammit!
My first real FP in 8 months, the reason why it took so long was pretty much the weather, what was really bad and my trainneeship, what is finally over, so enjoy
"Condemned to sail until doomsday."
Fanart inspired by Carach Angren – Death Came Through a Phantom Ship (Track 7).
This image captures the exact moment Van der Decken damns himself and his crew, doomed to relive this night forever.
Originele Vloek:
“Godverdomme! Wij zullen varen —
al betekent het mijn dood!”
English (in image):
“Goddamn it!
We will sail —
even if it means my death!”
The storm rages endlessly. Lightning illuminates the quarterdeck as the captain’s glowing eyes blaze with defiance. The crew cowers in terror while the Bible lies discarded, its pages whipping in the wind. This night never ends — the curse has no mercy.

Old Mother Goat (my current icon) seems to have lost her kids to a hungry wolf. Godverdomme. Sneaky bastard got to them before I could.
A glass of Vuur & Vlam from Brouwerij de Molen in Bodegraven, Netherlands, on draft at The Rover in Göteborg, Sweden.
Vuur & Vlam, Dutch for fire & flames, is a 6% abv india pale ale that has been copied by a number of European breweries (including HaandBryggeriet with Fyr & Flamme).
The beer poured a slightly hazy yellow-orange color with an everlasting white head. The aroma was phenomenal, fresh, fresh hops drifting across my nostrils like a breeze through the forest, with notes of pine, grass and even tropical citrus. I love it! The mouthfeel was medium heavy with a refreshing carbonation. The first sip just exploded in my mouth, first the mild sweetness to pave the road for the hop charge: Passion fruit, grapefruit, pine, citrus, grass - it's all here!! Despite all the different flavors it ends up harmonic, not extreme, thanks to a good sweetness, the carbonation and a decent bitterness cleaning up the taste buds after each sip. And then I wanted another sip. And another. This is such a rich but dangerously drinkable IPA!
As they say in Holland, godverdomme! What a beer! This is absolutely world class, sidetracking most American IPAs with its rich but harmonic aroma, complex flavors and high drinkability.
En het doek valt...

Beer, Brewers, Local Breweries Beer stores.. Retro referring to the 80’s Was it that way or so.. All about labels and codes, lifestyle of now.
The 80’s were else as expected. Beer was Heineken or Grolsch in the East. Glasses were Kolsch-a-like (17 20 cl). Music not the shit played now at the retro beer houses. AS there were no beer houses in the 80’s (except for 1 in. The Zaan area and 1 in Utrecht); a beer house is a code from the now..
So on music. Screw the “records” played now.. These are not bad; it is just 1% of all what is made. It aint about thriller from Jackson or loads of Commercial crap. It aint about “superstars” and blockbusers. Lets say.. lots of beauty is hidden in the past.
Here some not-freak-seeming-never played-now suggestions to Freak a party.. via spotify of course.. You know what was played at Davo ... the blockbusters Thriller (M. Jackson) and Sticky Fingers (Stones)...Not bad.. Just Let it Bleed. But we heard it over and over and over again. There is plenty more..
With lots of musicians around n the street here, ... well ... you know..
Beer.. well dont get purist.. The ones on the photo (Diessel or Surfer) or a hardcore Grolisch - from the vessel in a 17cl Kolsch glass…Further lots to Godverdomme Fuck It Schesse fun wished.

It is also fine to play records from Pet Shop Boys, Doe Maar , Modern Talking, Iron Maiden and all that kind of forgotten and half forgotten 80’s acts… It is not about "good" or "Bad" Music.. Music aint about such codes. It is about what people played out loud. then..
If there is a code than it is to play records what are not in the code.. the shit here, my words can turn in a code again.. I guess it does not and if so, it is no longer valid..
The beers? Surfer is refreshing , Diessel sweet and heavy.. what is called honest now. In our moment of may 2018, splendid beers. At the moment I returned to my Triple Karmeliet (bought 2 classic bottles for the summer) .. so dont give a damn about special, as long as you like it.. Non alcohol. great..Big deal.. gotta get water or so. whatever. Find out.. joy. Dont forget to play records at the party.. Dance… so you assumed not to drive a car.

i want love - now, not in a while, not soon, not in a second, but now!
in the present, this very moment, right now, goddammit,
je veux de l'amour and money too, money, to buy presents
and give them to everyone so they would love me
Listen to this heartbreaking blues (& get a speed lesson in Flemish) by the best Belgian singer/songwriter alive on this planet, Mr Raymond van 't Groenwoud:
Wie vond het nu in godsnaam nodig om de kleuren van Tram 11 te veranderen van rood&wit in groen&wit? Die kleuren gaan al mee sinds ik als zesjarige élke dag met tram 11 naar school ging. Dat is toch om stenen kl** van te krijgen!
so they changed the colours of the tram which I've been using since the age of six, from red&white into green&white and I hate it.
I'm surely not exagerating if I wish the jackass who thought of this a long and painful death?
or maybe just a loooong wait for another tram never to come, only dressed in a tanga. That would lessen my grief just as much...

Some love for the Dutch language. The design was made with dutch electronic hardcore in mind, heavily distorted & bold.
