The most important concept to understand is that we need to continually sit back and reevaluate where you’re at in life and adjust your goals accordingly. Because the truth is your goals dictate your actions, and subsequently the actions you take will be directly correlated to how successful you’ll be or... not be. Your goals from 5 years ago, along with the actions you took to accomplish those goals, are different.
I read this book called Vivid Vision by Cameron Herald. A book to help create a vision for the future so you can have a roadmap for the actions your do on a daily basis.
Here’s what I got in 4 steps.
Step 1 - Create a vision that is 3 years down the line.
3 years is specific because you don’t want it to be too short and not too long.
Make that 3 year vision grand (I.e- being accepted into a dream school, landing the job you’ve always wanted, being in a position where you are so competitive that schools can’t say no).
Step 2- Write your vision on paper. (Brainstorm and then type it out).
.
The key here is to be specific. The book talks about how a mission statement or a one liner doesn’t do justice to you or your mind when it comes to bringing your vision to fruition.
So...when creating your vivid vision....describe what it feels like, what it looks like, who’s there, what emotions do you have, what are you going to be most proud of, who’s going to be proud of you, what type of person will you be?
Step 3 - Print out your vivid vision and share it with your inner circle.
Step 4 - Reread your vision weekly and align your actions accordingly.
So there you go... I think it’s so important to continually grow and become the best version of yourself. But sometimes, in order to do so, you have to start with a vision.

One thing we must all understand is that, all of us, at some point in our life will face failure.
If you dream big enough, inevitably, you will encounter failure time and time again. Many of the accomplishments you see being had by successful individuals around you came with many bouts of failure, defeat, suffering, and sacrifice.
See the trick isn’t to avoid failure, it’s to lean into it and learn from it. So, if there is one thing you should take home, it’s to dream big, fail big, and win big.
