I bought an extra chinbar vent and used JB Weld to expoxy a GoPro J-mount to it, which gives a nice centred, almost-exact POV for filming. Downside is that the force of both the weight of the camera (and air resistance) weakened the flimsy plastic clips that hold it on. As it happened, the elastic waistband on my Frogg Togg pants was kinda messed up, so I chopped off the end and used it to make a "safety line", in case the vent cover came off while I was riding. It only happened once or twice, but I was glad to have it.
If I had to do this over again, I'd probably just find a solid FF helmet I didn't care about messing up, and epoxy the J-bracket onto that directly to use for dedicated video filming. This ain't bad for a hybrid solution though
