I stuck the GoPro Hero2 to the window of the train from London to Somerset today to make a video.
Here are some choice snaps of the 800 or so which it took, every ten seconds on the journey home.
This was taken with a Gopro Hero camera. It's a tiny fisheye video/still camera, about 2.5 inches wide designed for motorsports mainly, I think. Pretty impressive still image capture and the video is pretty good considering it's tiny size. It comes with a variety of attachments for adhering itself to various objects.. cars, motorcycles, quads, jetskis, birdfeeders.
I stuck it on my birdfeeder and set it to shoot every 5 seconds, then waited about an hour.
Options on the camera include normal still image capture like a regular camera, or preset to shoot at 2 or 5 second intervals, timer, 3 shot bursts, and video capture.
Previous posts shows the camera attached to my birdfeeder
timelapse trial with goPro Hero2, the background sound is not real :-) The weather created a lot of problems for commuters, but, it was hard to find "nice weather" for trying out timelapse, we see more clouds in one day than we usually see in a year and they are MOVING :-)
