I made a little tutorial on my webpage www.bj0rn.net/wordpress/2014/03/07/gopro-nuts-and-bolts-quickfix/ of a quickfix for loosing the nuts when pushing through the bolt fastening the mounts to my GoPro-cameras.
Night Solo in a DA20 Katana
Taken during my Commercial Pilot Training in L3 Hamilton, New Zealand.
We would fly night navigation flights solo and navigate visually (VFR). While the cities and towns could always be seen, there is always caution when approaching black unlit areas as they could be mountains or obstructions, hence the large charts to double/triple check.

Here’s a test shot from the GoPro Hero2 camera that my lovely wife gave me for Christmas … stay tuned for more action, after all it is an action camera.
p.s. there would have been a little more 'action' here now, except it looks like I pushed a few wrong buttons and didn't get what I was expecting. Will try again soon.

Friday I cycled 35km (22miles) round-trip from Langford to Downtown Victoria. Inbound along the Galloping Goose Trail and outbound along the E&N Rail Trail.
This image shows a what happens when the GoPro video camera slips down while mounted on the handlesbars of a bike. Stuff happens.

This GoPro video is a bit shakier than usual as my handle-bar mount took quite a beating while attached to the rental, e-bike. The Norco e-bike had no front shocks and the tires were as hard as steel. It seems even a grain of sand registers in the video.
Sorry about that. Next time I'll go back to the tried-and-true method of having the GoPro on the chest-mount.
