On a beautiful March evening the Illinois Terminal heritage unit leads train 30T down the former D&H. The through-truss bridge crosses the Susquehanna River between Bainbridge and Sidney, New York.
Life works in mysterious ways but when you find your inner glow is back and shining brighter, you know it's right..

The sun was shining through these plant outside my office last week. I thought it was pretty cool how it made the "leaves" of this plant glow.
Sorry for all the vertical shots lately!
For anyone wondering, the bright light on the left is a plane flying into the Vancouver airport. I don't know why its so bright, but it looks cool :)
Hello there Everyone!
My contribution for Happy Sliders Sunday! This is a Morning Glory that already had a bit of natural glow. I thought it would be cool to enhance the glow by using Topaz Studio. I also wanted to explore duo-tone with the blue and green combo. HSS!

Warm glow of the late sun reflects off the paddler and anchored boat.
This image runs 'Hot and Cold'
Warm evening light, accentuates the boarder's skin tones and lights up the boat, yet contrasts with the icy blue tones and the snow peaked, Mount Baker background.
Mt Baker also known as Koma Kulshan or simply Kulshan, is an active glaciated andesitic stratovolcano in the Cascade Volcanic Arc and the North Cascades of Washington in the United States. (Wikipedia)

Like many on Memorial Day weekend I decided to go camping with a buddy. We chose the Sequoia National Forest for three reasons. 1. We wanted to see the HUGE sequoias for the first time. (Childhood Bucket list, check). 2. We wanted to get as far away from people as possible. 3. The darkest sky possible with a southeast facing perch. We drove into the park around 1:00 did some activities along the way as we dwelled further into the forest. We parked our car as deep as we could go and set forth for our final resting spot. We climbed a couple hundred feet in elevation until we were on top of a mountain peak 8000ft up. Great views of the south east sky, we waited for the Milky Way to rise. What we saw tho was more spectacular than either of us signed up for. Here is a Pano that I took to gain a full perspective of what we enjoyed. I hope you enjoy it as much as we did. Thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Quietly beautifying their small corner of the earth, these two tulip companions glow in the late afternoon light.
