Today is kinda wacky...I'm leaving the house at 11:30 or 12 tonight and getting on the 1am train to Chicago...won't get to Chicago until 8am then it's another hour train ride to Aurora. I doubt I'll be able to sleep...but we'll see. So I plan on sleeping some after supper :S
I have mixed feelings about going back...I'm happy to be away from this place but I also HATE going back to my roomie, so much work, busy schedules, and early mornings...only 2 more months...only 2 more months...
I'm actually wearing my old show choir dress here...I hated the thing when I needed to wear it but now it's not so bad...made for a nice picture I'd say :)
I hate how this picture is so long and skinny...but I don't wanna crop the feet out. I may try it and see if I like it.
Hope everyone is well and I thank you all for your kind words throughout this week...I know I haven't been the best.

Here is the last shot from my shoot with Savannah a couple weeks ago. I wanted to edit at least one from each location we found while wondering around downtown El Paso for a couple hours. In the end I think we ended up with a really great set. Savannah Cornejo is really working that jacket and sunglasses!
All of the shots were natural light. Unusual for me not to even use a reflector and I didn't have my trusty assistant to help me out. I also didn't want to lug around a bunch of lighting gear. I Just spent a little extra time finding the light. In this shot we ducked into a shaded alley and I had Savannah stand right behind where the sun was blasting the ground and wall to my left so that the golden light would reflect on to her skin and cause it to really glow against the cooler toned dark alley.
