This is a glowing reminder of the pleasant, warm sunny days of summer on Mission Point, near Traverse City, Michigan.
Cherries are still iconic in this area of Northwest Michigan, though many of the cherry orchards have been replaced by vinyards.

I went on a photo walk with my good friend Linda Shankster and we visited the Butterfly Pavilion so there will be images of that trip soon! I had to post this one I used my Helios as my main lens and I had a lot of fun! Thank you all for the continued support!!

I love the fact that I live next door to one of the United States most resilient cities, Detroit, Michigan, also known as the โMotor Cityโ. Detroit and Windsor, Ontario are forever linked historically, industrially and culturally. Im Moment kann ich noch zwei Interessen miteinander verbinden. Zum einen suche ich nach Speisepilzen und zum anderen gehe ich meiner Leidenschaft als Fotograf nach. Auch hier sind es Schirme, die eine dรผnne Kappe haben und daher leicht zu beleuchten sind.
At the moment I can still combine two interests. On the one hand, I look for edible mushrooms and on the other, I pursue my passion as a photographer. Here again it's umbrellas that have a thin cap and are therefore easy to light.
Once upon a time this was a real bulb, it is now empty and was painted on with flowers and the words "Frohe Ostern". It has a hole in the bottom and I stuffed tiny fairy lights through it to light the bulb from within.
I love color. It must submit to me. And I love art. I kneel before it, and it must become mine. Everything around me glows with passion. Every day reveals a new red flower, glowing, scarlet red. Everyone around me carries them. Some wear them quietly hidden in their hearts. And they are like poppies just opening, of which one can see only here and there a hint of red petal peeking out from the green bud.

Was lucky to experience some fog on the day the sun was at an angle so that it only lit up the fog just before sunset!
It's an early start as I'm off into the mountains once more, but before I get there I just had to stop and capture this sunrise that greeted me as I drove out into the Highlands.
