Bariloche, Río Negro: Samuel Jeffery shares a tender moment with Aurelia Jeffery while relaxing in a tranquil, wood-paneled swimming pool overlooking the lush Andean forest. The composition emphasizes the contrast between the warm, ambient indoor lighting reflecting off the turquoise water and the soft, natural daylight filtering through the expansive floor-to-ceiling glass windows. Aurelia remains calm in her father's arms as they find a peaceful reprieve from the adventurous spirit of the Lake Crossing journey. The room’s rustic architecture, defined by rich, horizontal timber paneling and minimalist poolside loungers, captures the serene luxury often found within secluded Patagonian retreats. A shallow depth of field keeps the focus tightly on the pair, highlighting their genuine, joyful expressions amidst the cool, pristine environment. Beyond the glass, the dense verdant canopy of the surrounding mountains provides a dramatic, immersive backdrop that grounds the scene in the untamed beauty of Argentina’s wilderness. This quiet interaction serves as a testament to the versatility of the Cruce Andino experience, showing how high-altitude transit through the Andes can also offer moments of domestic intimacy and restoration. By showcasing the intersection of architectural comfort and wild, panoramic geography, this scene underscores the unique appeal of South American mountain hospitality for family travelers. This image is a collaborative production by Samuel Jeffery and Audrey Bergner for Project 23.

This is one of my favorite pictures- I love how well the lighting turned out.

Conneaut High School in Conneaut, OH used glass block to assist in the lighting of the weight room. The glass block allows the natural light to flood into the weight room. Glass block offers durability and beauty to the high school.

Little color enhancement. Better?

Coloured glass window in the Processional walk from the main part of the Cathedral to the Lady Chapel.

The sign says it all. Taken inside Liverpools Anglican Cathedral. Very unexpected and worked beautifully. And before anyone comments on cropping to make it symettrical, I tried that and I prefer it this way. View Large

These are some flowers I drew while I was on a missions trip in Michigan. The reasoning behind the title is because these flowers are actually a stained glass window in the church that we were staying at. I found them very beautiful, but I think its missing the awesome colors that were in the glass... but this is what I got.
