For those of you who have followed us for a while or have met us many times, you'll probably know that we are working (ongoingly so) on a children's book with our friend, Mooey. Mooey is a great little acquaintance to have because he makes Curious George look like a narcoleptic. This was him trying to hide behind "scenery". Obviously he hasn't quite grasped the conceptual difference between large & small matter and how well once eclipses the other. It's okay, he's still a young calf with lots of time left to learn!

From my early days of photography I have been hearing that over cast sky is best to shoot as there is no harsh light and shadows but somehow I find difficult to shoot in such a condition as the area under the eyes is too dark when there is no dircect light on face or key light. Other factor which is missing in such situation is the catch light in the eyes. Its difficult to get that too. In this particular shot (over cast sky) light has been reflected from a thermocol reflector and the some natural reflection from floor. Thermocol is also creating catch light which is hardly visible here as her eyes are very small :D
