For those outside of South Florida, let me tell you, it's friggin hot and humid here. It's so hot and humid, even Mike Jones won't come to Florida this time of year.
In any event, I decided to post this photo because it grossed out my shooting partner last Saturday, Senora Shutterbug.
As noted, last Saturday's photoshoot in Butterfly World, even at 9:30 a.m. was very humid. I was literally sweating cannon fire.
So to enhance a photo opportunity, I decided to use some of my photographer's sweat on this Mexican Sunflower. To the untrained eye, it simply looks like a raindrop. Voila. Improvisation.
While my friend Senora Shutterbug was grossed out by the incident, the butterfly had no problem with it and posed for me as well.
