As my work assignment here in Taiwan is ending, I was surprised by some wonderful going away gifts. Each article was very personalize and amazing (especially the figurine of me).
Just when I thought it could not be topped, I received a beautiful card from the team.
I will miss all of them very much, my time here in Taiwan was too short as we were just getting started but maybe next time.
It was my mom's 60th birthday this year. I didn't have enough money to get her anything nice, so I made her some gift certificates. I am a dork.
We won the February contest of the group "Behind the doll scenes", and today the gifts arrived!

funny thing about this clock is that it is both a digital and analog clock
so the hour hand only moves at the very end of the hour, which is very odd because you expect the hour hand to have been moving during the hour
so 2:59 should look like 3:00, but it doesn't, you think it looks like 1:59 because the hour hand still points directly at 2!
I really like the 'colourfullness' of this gift shop we passed today. It was so typical of the many splattered everywhere
No doubt the cutest gift I got this year: a rubber duck tea egg! It even has its own egg-shaped tea-egg-rest.
After the show we walked by the hotel gift shop, I went in to browse around but the stuff was really expensive so I decided to wait until we left to get a few souvenirs at the gas station on the way back home
