These bags were made by first making some cupcakes and photographing them. I then edited the photos and used them in my designs. Once i had my design i then took my material and cut it down to the size of an A4 sheet of paper, I then cut some freezer paper down to the same size. I then ironed the freezer paper on to the material, this will allow the material to pass through an inkjet printer. I was then able to print my design on to the material. Once printed i the cut up the material and sewed up the gift bags. Once sewn I then added the ribbon bag tie.
When we went down to the Auditorium to receive our diplomas for this year's course, we were given these plants courtesy of the Ayuntamiento.
Gifts are given to my mother for all the work she does, this is practically a full time job. The club is the largest in our county, with over 60 members every year.
This year they gave 20 gifts, each with a little saying to indicate what they are to be used for.

Okay all was good today until . . .
I was leaving work in 15 minutes, my relief hadnt arrived so i had to straighten up my area and put my uniform on cause i never wear it on the weekends cause theres no one in the office. The phone rings, im talking to my supervisor. Then my relief knocks on the door. "SHIT" I jump up stretch the phone cord across the room and open up my bag quickly begin to change my pants when the phone cord knocks over my coffee, i cant get my pants up fast enough so i drop the phone. Another knock, I grab my sketch book, but, its too late. That picture i was drawing yesterday and had almost finished today was covered in coffee. . . .its destroyed. i seriously could cry.
I got a package in the mail today. Its from my friend Red. Inside was a box of chocolates. I unwrapped the packing and i couldnt believe it. There was one chocolate missing. I guess that just about sums up my day.

May 26, 2019. Spent the day flying back from Vancouver to Ottawa. This is the speaker's gift from the CNIE conference (which is really quite something).
The paper is from Samantha Walker and the image and sentiment are from Tiffany Doodles. The 'kiss' is the covering for a small box that holds hershey kisses.

For the gift wrap, i printed a owl picture i found on the internet and a simple brown bag....inside the bag was a make your own owl kit I made using a pattern I also found browsing on the web!!
