it could be a lied by schubert. yet...without the words. suleika, I & II.

Some pretty amazing musicians last night at our local brewery. Did get to hear a long set up & sound check. One of these days I'm going to take a nap & stay for the actual show.

Chronodex Integrated with GTD, A5 Pages on A4 Paper

Thanks for all your enthusiastic comments about Chronodex, it will take me a little more time to respond to your comments. As of today, there are 28,000 downloads of Chronodex! Thanks a lot. Honestly thanks to all of your prayers, almost like a miracle, my Dad smiled like a kid a few days ago, never seen him like that in the past few years. I'm sure his regression brought his mind back to the old days before his illness, evidented by his choice of language (he now speaks Mandarin rather than Cantonese, he never spoke to us in Mandarin before, although it is the same written language). He muttered "beautiful kid (漂亮的孩子)" to my son with a nice smile. Thank God! I think he is not suffering anymore although physically he is incapable of doing anything, it is a beauty to see him regresses to a younger age in his mind.

I realized many of you don't have Traveler's Notebook and may not like the format of a dated diary, so here you go an undated version of Chronodex fully integrated with GTD in mind. It is to be used in A5 sized pages, the PDF file is to be printed on A4 paper giving you two A5 pages, the JPG file is just an A5 sized page.

The reason why I included a JPG file is that somebody would like to use the Chronodex core as a template on their iPad GhostNotes app. It will be fun to see the results.

Feel free to explore how to use it, I totally love this format and hope you like it too. Remember to visit the Chronodex Facebook page.

Trap Rabbit is an alt-jazz experimental duo that formed in 2015 in a Philadelphia basement. Consisting of Logan Roth on keyboards and Arjun Dube on percussion, the pair champions a sound spanning multiple genres, utilizing raw instrumentation and synchronized musical chemistry to create an electrifying performance unlike any other project on the scene today.

Since meeting as students at Princeton University in 2011, Roth and Dube have played in multiple bands together, opening for well-known artists such as Vulfpeck, Ghostnote, Wyclef Jean, Mark Guiliana, and Moonhooch. Using their jazz backgrounds as a foundation, the pair never felt comfortable in the confines of one genre, and moved to Philadelphia after graduating in the hopes of meeting other musicians who shared their sentiments.

The duo also enjoys collaborating with a wide variety of artists including singers, rappers, classical musicians, videographers, and painters. Local Philadelphia collaborators include Kuf Knotz, Christine Elise, Sophie Coran, Josue Lora, Skyler Jenkins, Jake Morelli, Eric Bazillian, and Phil Nicolo (among several others).

January 5

My Batterie magazines came in today! As far as I can remember (which really isn’t far), this is my first-ever magazine cover. I never would have expected my first to be a French percussion magazine. Ha! So amazing.

At work today some folks came over from USB for on-camera interview training. Basically I just set up a camera and a light while they each looked over a different made-up new event pertaining to the university. Then they took turns in front of the camera acting as a spokesperson for UNT, while the others relentlessly drilled them with questions about the event. I’d never seen something like that take place, but it was super interesting and educational!

Tonight I took this picture and played GTA with Jake. Tomorrow I think I’ll be diving back into freelance once again.

More images I have captured at The Working Horse Trusts open day held on the 31/05/10, They are a registered charity who are the only one of there kind run almost entirely by volunteers with only one permernent member of staff.

They work very hard to promote the Heavy Horse breeds highlighting the trouble that they are in & only by raising funds via a mix of paid work & fundraising events along with public support & donations they could not survive.

They will be holding there summer event called the

Eridge Heavy Horse Show on the 25th July 2010 from 10.30am to 5pm & it really is a great one to attend.

My images in this compilation try to give you an idea of some of the sights you will see that being any age able to get close to these beautiful animals & ask questions & get answers from people who love them dearly.

Finally a big thank you to Bill Cushman for allowing me to use his beautiful music, Thanks Again Bill.

Please visit bills blog Ghostnotes.blogspot.com you will not be dissapointed.

Not really sure why but I seem to have lost my way at the moment with photography & making these short vids, I have just run out of steam, My goal I set my self is further away than ever & just when I think I am getting there another moutain appears that has to be climbed.

I love photography but do this on a shoestring & now for a while I am going to take a break, I will have a go at makeing one or two more of these short vids with the images I already have & have started trying to make the images look older than they really are trying different ways of processing the raw images.

I must say thank you to William Cushman for allowing me to use his beautiful music & if you have the chance check out his blog Ghostnotes where you can hear more of his beautiful music !! You will not be disapointed he is an amazing person.
