Established by the White House in 1987, the Hispanic Heritage Foundation (HHF) is an award-winning nonprofit that identifies, inspires, prepares and positions Latino leaders in the classroom, community and workforce to meet America’s priorities.
HHF is a 501(c)3 focused on assisting “a Latino to help hundreds more” through a unique cycle of leadership built on a high-profile, year-round continuum of sustainable programs including the Hispanic Heritage Youth Awards, Latinos On Fast Track (LOFT) , Hispanic Heritage Awards and Public Awareness Campaigns.
HHF also promotes cultural pride, accomplishment, and the great promise of the community through public awareness campaigns seen by millions. HHF is headquartered in Washington, DC and has offices in Los Angeles, New York, and Miami.

About JOSE ANTONIO TIJERINO is president and CEO of the Hispanic Heritage Foundation (HHF), which inspires, prepares, connects and positions Latino leaders in the classroom, community and workforce to meet America’s priorities. HHF also promotes Latino cultural pride, accomplishment and the great promise of the community through public awareness campaigns and initiatives reaching millions. Mr. Tijerino has led the award-winning, 27-year-old nonprofit for 13 years and has developed an innovative, sustainable model for Latino leadership in 10 “priority” fields which features a network of tens of thousands of vetted students and young professionals who he believes are “leaders of today, not tomorrow.” The LOFT (Latinos On Fast Track) program he created has been recognized by The White House, Congress, Silicon Valley and Fortune 500 companies for it’s impact. Tijerino also executive-produces the star-studded Hispanic Heritage Awards, which are considered among the highest honors for Latinos, and TV broadcast which were on PBS last year.
