I went on a little hunt yesterday for some abandoned buildings to go with my Urban Decay topic and instead stumbled on the Phoenix Arts District which has some beautiful murals scattered around a few blocks. This took over my outing so I've changed my topic to Urban Arts instead. I wanna go back with a model or hell even by myself to walk around a bit to see what else I can find in the area. Today's challenge complete!
Went out to #RiversideArtsMarket today on a search for strangers to convert into people that are longer strange to me...... lol
Of course I had long exposures as the challenge for July 4th! This was my first time shooting fireworks and the wind helped to create some very cool effects!
July ArtWalk 7-3-19 had a limited turnout due to rain which really sucked! There were still awesome people out showing off their skills and others out to take in as much of the arts as possible for the day.

Today's challenge was eyes, I don't feel that I did quite as good as I should have, I was missing a sharpness that I really wanted in this challenge. I was fortunate enough though to have 2 women with eyes that I felt had just what I was looking for, that caught the lighting just right! I could've just went home and taken photos of Tracy or the kids but I felt stopping someone like I do with my stranger challenge was the best way to tackle this challenge. First was Sydney, I was sitting outside of #Raindogs drinking a beer when she came through and the lighting hit her eyes just right that I knew I wanted to get a shot of them, I asked and obviously she accepted. She said she didn't care for the 2nd shot I got but liked the first, I liked the 2nd the most but decided to post both along with a closer shot for her eyes. Next was Kris she was inside talking to John, who I had been outside talking to for a bit and some humorous topics came up in the conversation so I had to join in, we all went outside and chatted some more and I asked to take a photo of hers because while we were talking I noticed how her eyes were catching the lighting. I didn't find out much about Sydney but Kris is a fire spinner and showed me some photos that were pretty freaking cool so hopefully she can help me out with a lighting challenge that I know of that is coming down the road! :)
Thanks to both of these ladies that allowed some random guy to not only take a photo of them but allowed me to get a little closer so I could focus more on their eyes for this challenge!

Sunday 6-30's challenge was leading lines. I was recovering from my daughter's all night party so I didn't get out to shoot on Sunday. I was able to find this track on my way home from visiting mom in the hospital.

Monday 7-1's challenge was signs, it is kind of a super simple challenge so not really a challenge but the whole point of the daily topics is that I get out and shoot! :)

Getting caught up, this is from last Thursday during puppy training. I decided to use Pets as the topic for the day and caught these cuties while waiting for training.

Bokeh was a fun challenge as I got to make toys to complete it. Read about it and let me know what you think.

So today's challenge was textures which I am just going to remove because I actually needed to learn how to use a texture/create layers. The girl was my first attempt and Konnor is the second, each is a combination of 3 photos, 2 images to combine in order to alter the original scene and the third to layer as a texture which helped to blend the other layers together. The shot of Konnor's reflection is my favorite of these photos but I like them both.
