I shot this for week 13 of my Project 52. The prompt for the week was "Photographer's Choice".

I had a hard time deciding what genre is my favorite. I like to shoot macros, flowers, nature, and still life. While sitting outside with my coffee this morning, our geranium kept catching my eye. So here it is!

Thankfully, my muse spoke to me!

I have more varieties of geranium than is sensible. I went through a phase of buying and growing any I could get my hands on. This is a favourite variety though.

Sneaking up on it with a Raynox thing

At the beginning of November, geraniums were still blooming and then.... Now, just 4 short weeks later - it is December, there is snow all around, replacing the autumn colors and still blooming flowers - and it is just as beautiful!
